This is Christ’s church, not ours. As He welcomed us, we welcome you! If this is your first visit with us, we invite you to join us on Sunday mornings for Worship and Fellowship, beginning at 9:30 AM.
Perry CC is a member congregation of a denomination known as the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ); a protestant mainline denomination that holds to four primary points of faith:
- No Creed But Christ: This means that we confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and we proclaim him Lord and Savior of the World and this is all anyone needs to join with us in fellowship and holy communion.
- No Book but the Bible: This means that we consider all of scripture to be "breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness." Bring your questions! Bring your curiosity!
-The Centrality of the Table: All believers in Christ as well as those seeking Christ anew, are welcome to partake in the Lord's Supper [Holy Communion], which is celebrated every Sunday.
-The Freedom of Conscience: As Disciples of Christ, in our understanding of Christ, our interpretation of scripture, and our congregational practices, we hold to the following axiom: "In essentials unity; in nonessentials, liberty; in all things charity" - attributed to Rupertus Meldenius.
