What to Expect When You Arrive
On Sunday Morning
You will be greeted at the door by someone who will be glad to answer your questions. We currently have one worship service which starts at 9:30am in our sanctuary (that is the building with the bell tower). Our service runs approximately 60 - 75 minutes and is a mixture of traditional and casual/contemporary worship. Our worship services are casual, and the dress is casual, what ever is appropriate for the season, (i.e. shorts during the summer months are fine.) Between 60 – 90 people usually attend our worship service and join us after worship for coffee and goodies.
Young children from ages 0 – 6 years old are encouraged to attend their own church at 9:30am which is held in the building to the right of the sanctuary. Upon entering the side door to the right of the sanctuary, go down the stairs and to the left. There the children are given an age appropriate lesson.
We sing hymns from the Chalice Hymnal with a piano, and we have a band which plays popular Christian Music. During special holidays we like to enjoy our choirs, hymns and band music.
After worship and a time of coffee and goodies, we offer Sunday school for all ages. The children’s Sunday school is in the wing to the right of the sanctuary down the stairs and to the left. Our adult classes are upstairs.
YOU WILL NOT be pointed out as a visitor and asked to do anything. We want you to relax and enjoy the time of worship. You will be greeted by several people but your privacy will not be invaded. WE just want you to feel welcome and be at ease.
